Victor's passion and why it's important to him:
My passion is AIDS advocacy. I’m a longtime advocate for AIDS testing. I choose the ocean to spread awareness of this disease that took the life of my brother and left another battling it by rowing. For close to a decade, I have been rowing the waters in New York.

How sponsorship can make a difference in Victor's life:
I’m planning my third attempt to row five-thousand miles from Africa to New York's Brooklyn Bridge in a seven-teen foot ocean rowboat named, Never Give Up. I look to depart from Sao Vicente, Cape Verde on December 1st (World AIDS Day - weather permitting). Your sponsorship will help reduce the cost of this project ($50,000.00). I’m confident this project will encourage people to get tested for HIV/AIDS, raise money for AIDS medicine and research. Notwithstanding, everyday people will be inspired to Never Give Up in their passion.
What Victor has requested if sponsored by Prilosec OTC:
Partnership - That's it. A partner stays with you to the end of your mission. In return, you just do what inspires your passion.
How Victor plans to let people know about it if he becomes officially sponsored by Prilosec OTC:
My passion is for the advocacy of HIV/AIDS. Secondly, I wouldn't be able to even reach this milestone without support. These are tough economic times for everyone. So unlike a staged commercial, I would talk from the heart. Your product has help me continue my passion. Since this project is getting global media attention, I'm quite sure branding opportunities present them self via logo placement on rowboat, oars, rowing uniform and pre-event promotions. During this historic row across the Atlantic Ocean, I plan to blog about how Prilocec kept my dream alive.
