Official Rules governing the Official Sponsor of Everything You Do Without Heartburn*

1. HERE'S HOW IT WORKS: Complete an Application Submission that communicates why you want to be "sponsored" by Prilosec OTC®. See Rule #2g for definition of sponsorship/award. In your application, tell your story of something you truly love to do, something you do with passion, something that you prefer to experience without heartburn standing in your way, what you would specifically like to receive for your award, how you would use your award to pursue your passion and how you would tell others that you were officially sponsored by Prilosec OTC. If applicable to your individual story, tell us how Prilosec OTC could have helped you (or someone in your life 18 or older) defend against frequent heartburn and facilitate your pursuit of your passion. Purchase or use of Prilosec OTC® is not required. NOTE: Applications must follow entry requirements as outlined in Rule #2. A panel of sponsor-specified judges will determine the award recipients.
2. HERE'S HOW TO ENTER: Beginning at 12:00 PM (Noon) ET on 7/15/10, visit OfficialSponsor.com and follow the on-screen instructions to register and complete your application submission. There are four entry periods (See below chart). Applications must be received by 12:00 PM (Noon) ET on 7/15/11 to be eligible for the final entry period. Non-winning applications from each entry period will automatically be rolled over into each subsequent period. Non-winning applications from the previous Prilosec OTC® "The Official Sponsor or Everything You Do Without Heartburn" Promotion will not be rolled over into this promotion. Non-winning applicants from the previous promotion that ended at 12:00 PM (Noon) ET on 4/19/10 may re-submit their application into this promotion or submit an entirely new application.

   ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:
   • Your application submission must include the components outlined in the application form posted at OfficialSponsor.com, including a profile photo of entrant. Requirements for optional components such as additional photos and videos are outlined on the website. Application components including application video, application Photos, Links, and additional videos are permissible but not required as outlined on the website.
   • If Sponsor deems that the application submission does not comply with the Official Rules of the promotion or if application including the essay and any photos or videos depicts usage experiences that do not portray usage of the product in compliance with the Sponsor's standards and the labeled use of Prilosec OTC (in Sponsor's sole discretion), including submissions that depict usage in a manner inconsistent with Prilosec OTC Directions and Warning Labels, entrants will be contacted and asked to re-submit their application (if time permits) so that it complies with the Official Rules. If re-submitted application submission still does not comply with the Official Rules (in Sponsor's sole discretion), it will not be eligible to participate in the promotion. Purchase or use of Prilosec OTC® is not required.
   • ALL APPLICATION SUBMISSIONS MUST BE YOUR OWN ORIGINAL WORK AND CANNOT CONTAIN, INCORPORATE OR REFERENCE ANYTHING THAT IS OWNED BY ANY THIRD PARTY OR ENTITY OR WOULD REQUIRE THE CONSENT OF ANY THIRD PARTY OR ENTITY IN ANY JURISDICTION. WITHOUT LIMITING THE GENERALITY OF THE FOREGOING, ENTRANTS MUST OBTAIN THE WRITTEN CONSENT OF ANY AND ALL OF PERSONS FEATURED, REFERENCED, IDENTIFIED OR ASSOCIATED WITH THE SUBMISSION MATERIALS PRIOR TO SUBMISSION AND FURNISH SAME IF REQUESTED. PERSONS UNDER THE AGE OF 18 MAY NOT APPEAR IN A VIDEO/PHOTO OR BE REFERENCED UNLESS ENTRANT IS THE LEGAL GUARDIAN OR PARENT OF SUCH PERSONS. ALL APPLICATIONS MUST BE IN ENGLISH.
   • Limit one application submission per e-mail address. You may enter only once however, you may update your Application Submission throughout the entry period as many times as you like per the instructions posted on the website.
   • Application submission materials must not contain or depict defamatory words/statements (including words or symbols that are widely considered offensive to individuals of a certain race, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, or socioeconomic group); they must not include threats to any person, place, business, or group; they must not invade privacy or other rights of any person, firm, entity, and they must not in any other way violate applicable federal, state, or local laws and regulations. The application submission cannot contain any references to commercial/corporate advertising other than Sponsor's (including but not limited to corporate logos, brand names and slogans) as determined by Sponsor, in its sole discretion. Application submissions may not contain any references to indecent behavior, profanities or obscenities, including but not limited to nudity, pornography, and may not in any way disparage persons or organizations associated with the Sponsor. Sponsor/judges reserve the right in their sole discretion to disqualify any submission that, in their sole opinion, refers, depicts or in any way reflects negatively upon the Sponsor, the promotion or any other person or entity, or does not comply with these requirements or these Official Rules. Application submissions must be suitable for presentation in a public forum, in sole determination of judges and/or Sponsor.
   • By entering the Promotion, entrants agree to release Sponsor from for any liability, which they, their heirs, successors, assigns or any other party may make in connection with their participation. Entrants further agree to release, indemnify and hold Sponsor harmless from and against any and all losses, damages, costs and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' arising out of a breach of my representations and warranties), third party liabilities, demands, claims, lawsuits, allegations, fines, losses, damages (actual and consequential) of every kind and nature, known and unknown, causes of action (whether or not finally adjudicated, and including settlement thereof), penalties and forfeitures (including, without limitation, travel to and from any location used in connection with the Promotion, the making, taping, production, use, editing, distribution, licensing, promoting, and/or exhibition of the application submission materials including, without limitation, any claims, actions or lawsuits for wrongful death, negligence and/or other fault, either active or passive, personal injury, wrongful death, defamation, false light, violation of right of publicity, invasion of privacy, property damage, disclosure of embarrassing private facts, fraud, breach of contract, infringement of copyright, and negligent or intentional infliction of emotional distress), or violation of any law or the rights of a third party.
   • Participation in this Promotion is completely voluntary and without any confidential or other relationship, fiduciary or otherwise, with Sponsor. There is no agreement between entrants and Sponsor of any kind express or implied. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, any "sponsorship"/award described or provided as part of the Promotion is limited to a one-time award of consideration or cash (up to a stated maximum) awarded in the sole discretion of Sponsors and according to the Promotion terms and conditions. Such an award is not contingent on the performance of any obligation or task; does not make an entrant or award recipient an employee, contractor, agent, or spokesperson for Sponsor; does not constitute an inducement or endorsement by Sponsor of any activities described or depicted in the application submission materials, which entrants undertake voluntarily, knowing and accepting all risks.
   • If referencing Prilosec OTC®, entrants must review the labeled directions for Prilosec OTC® and may not depict, promote, or endorse usage of such product in the application submission materials in a manner inconsistent with the labeled use. Any statements made in the application submission about Prilosec OTC® must reflect a true and honest opinion of and experience with Prilosec OTC®. Purchase or use of Prilosec OTC® is not required.
   • Entrants assume any and all risks arising from my participation in the Promotion, known or unknown. Entrants should not attempt, describe, or depict any unsafe practice or behavior that poses a risk to persons or property.
3. ELIGIBILITY: This promotion is open only to residents of the 50 United States or the District of Columbia who are 18 years of age or older at time of entry. Previous Award Recipients from the Prilosec OTC "The Official Sponsor of Everything You Do Without Heartburn" Promotion are not eligible to enter or win. Employees of Procter & Gamble, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising, promotion and internet agencies and their immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of each are not eligible. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. Void where prohibited by law. Eligibility is expressly conditioned on acceptance/completion of the Terms and Conditions/Official Rules and the other representations and acknowledgement required at time of application submission on the website.
4. ONLINE VOTING: : Beginning at 12:00 PM (Noon) ET on 7/15/10 through 12:00 PM (Noon) ET on 7/15/11, eligible application submissions will be posted on www.OfficialSponsor.com. During this period, website visitors will be given the opportunity to vote for their favorite submission on www.OfficialSponsor.com. See chart below for voting periods. A person can use only one email address to vote. Limit one vote per e-mail address per day. If more than one vote is received per e-mail address per day, only the first vote received will be eligible. Eligible votes received for submissions that have been later updated by the entrant will be carried over and count for the updated submission. Eligible votes received during each entry period will not be carried over into subsequent entry periods. Eligible votes received for each submission will become part of the judging criteria as outlined in Rule #5.

5. JUDGING TO DETERMINE THE AWARD RECIPIENTS: All eligible entries will be judged by a Sponsor-specified panel of experts whose decisions are final on all matters relating this promotion to determine up to a maximum of 160 award recipients (up to a maximum of 40 in each entry period). The amount of the award provided will be solely determined by the judges based on the overall application of each award recipient. See Rule #6 for complete award details. Awards will be determined using the following criteria:
   • Ability to convey your passion—(25%)
   • Originality & Creativity in all application submission materials—(25%)
   • Number of votes received from the voting community—(20%)
   • Ability to convey how you would tell others you were officially sponsored by Prilosec OTC®—(15%)
   • Overall appropriateness of application submission to the brand image as determined by judges—(15%)
   In the event of a tie, the tie will be broken based on the highest score for Ability to convey your passion.
6. AWARDS: Up to a maximum of 160 cash awards to further your passion (up to a maximum of 40 for each entry period) with up to a total approximate retail value of $192,000 will be awarded. The average value of each award is $1,200. The award will be provided in the form of a check or gift card to be used towards the item(s) requested in entrant's application submission, as determined in Sponsor's sole and exclusive discretion. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute an award of equal or greater value at its sole discretion. No individual award will exceed $4,000 in value. The total approximate retail value is based on awarding 160 awards. A minimum of 48 awards with a maximum value of $4,000 each will be awarded. At least one award will be granted in each entry period. Award recipients will be notified and awards fulfilled by no later than 9/30/11. The full and entire extent of the award is the amount awarded in this Section 6. All federal, state, and local taxes, as well as all costs, expenses, fees, and liabilities—even if contemplated in or described by in the award recipient's Submission Materials—are the sole and exclusive responsibility of the award recipient. Limit one award per family/household. Awards consist of only the items specifically listed as part of the award.
7. GENERAL RULES: Potential award recipients (or parent/legal guardian if award recipient is deemed a minor in his/her state of residence) will be required to complete an Affidavit of Eligibility certifying that the application submission (and all its elements) submitted is his/her own original work and he/she holds all rights to the application submission and all elements therein and that he/she has followed the Official Rules of the promotion and meets the requirements set forth in these Official Rules. Additionally, Potential Award recipients (or parent/legal guardian if potential recipient is deemed a minor in his/her state of residence) will be required to complete a Release of Liability, Award Acceptance Form and, if legally permissible, a Publicity Release. All documents must be completed and returned within 5 days of attempted delivery of same. Noncompliance within this time period or return of any award/award notification as undeliverable will result in disqualification without further notice and an alternate winner may be selected. Award recipients will be notified by phone/mail. No substitution or transfer of award by recipient permitted. If an entrant submits more than the stated number of application/submissions permitted, and/or if the Sponsor suspects that an entrant attempted to obtain additional application/submissions by using multiple email addresses, registrations, identities or any other method, all application/submissions submitted by the entrant will be declared null and void.
8. EFFECT OF ACCEPTANCE: By accepting award, recipient (or parent/legal guardian if recipient is deemed a minor in his/her state of residence) agree to release and hold Sponsor, their respective directors, officers, employees and assigns, harmless from and against any and all claims and liability arising out of use of award or any travel in connection therewith. Award recipient (or parent/legal guardian if recipient is deemed a minor in his/her state of residence) assume all liability for any injury or damage caused, or claimed to be caused, by participation in this promotion or use or redemption of any award. Acceptance of award constitutes permission for the Sponsor and its agencies to use recipient's name, application, excerpts of application and/or likeness for purposes of advertising and trade without further compensation, unless prohibited by law. Entrants (or parent/legal guardian if entrant is deemed a minor in his/her state of residence) agree to release, discharge and hold harmless Sponsor, its respective directors, officers, employees and assigns, harmless from and against any and all liability and damages. By participating in this promotion, entrants (or parent/legal guardian if entrant is deemed a minor in his/her state of residence) agree to be bound by the Official Rules and the judges' decisions which are final. In the event there is a discrepancy or inconsistency between disclosures or other statements contained in any contest materials and the terms and conditions of the Official Rules, the Official Rules shall prevail, govern and control. All material submitted including the application becomes the sole property of Sponsor and will not be returned. Sponsor/judges reserve the right to: (a) use applicant's name and likeness and reproduce/distribute all entries submitted in any and all media throughout the world in perpetuity, (b) alter, amend, edit or change entries prior to distribution and (c) use, distribute, reproduce, alter, amend and copyright entries for purposes of advertising and trade without further compensation, unless prohibited by law. Sponsor not responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing of the offer, administration of the promotion or in the announcement of the awards. In no event will more than the stated number of awards be made.
